Who is House Calls Doctors?
HouseCall Doctors is a complete mobile medical practice that utilizes Nevada licensed physicians only. HouseCall Doctors does not utilize physician assistants or nurse practitioner’s but only Nevada licensed general practitioner’s, family practitioner’s and internist.
In fact, utilizing the services of HouseCall Doctors is no different than going to the doctor’s office except that the doctors comes to you!
HouseCall Doctors was established in 1998 by Henri Wetselaar, M.D. and James Egidio, when medical insurance companies allowed physicians to render medical house calls in patient’s homes. HouseCall Doctors took the house call concept a step further by doing some research and found out that there are more (50% more) uninsured patients then insured patients and that is when HouseCall Doctors decided to provide the convenience (both economically and as a value added service) of medical house calls to uninsured patients at no additional cost.
You may be asking, why would a medical house call be so inexpensive? The doctor has to come to you. The answer is, overhead. You see, a doctor who renders medical house calls does not have a fancy office with a real expensive fish tank and over paid, inexperienced technicians and secretaries. In fact, HouseCall Doctors services are 100% less expensive than going to an emergency room for minor illnesses and 50-80% less expensive than going into an urgent care or quick care center.
